The aspirants for admission to colleges affiliated to Mumbai University will need to check their eligibility criteria before they fill the application form for the 2018 online admissions. Mumbai University is one of the largest Universities in India with over 749 colleges that are affiliated to it.
One of the basic eligibility criteria for the admissions to Mumbai University is for the aspirant to have cleared 12th standard in science, arts or commerce stream from any board. However, the specific eligibility criteria or requirement will vary and may be different from course to course and colleges may have their own specific requirements.
All admissions will be based on the Merit List released by the Mumbai University by the end of June 2018. Aspirants with marks/ grades or percentage equal to or more than the cutoff declared in the Merit List by the Mumbai University will be eligible and their names will feature on it.
The Eligibility Criteria For Various Courses 2018:
- UG courses in Science stream requires an applicant to clear class 12th in science stream i.e Medical or Non-medical as per chosen course.
- UG courses in Commerce requires an applicant to clear 12th class with accounts and maths as the compulsory subjects.
- UG courses in Arts stream requires an applicant to clear 12th class in any discipline.
